Do you have a to-do list? I do. On it is to make a headboard for the bed we built 3 years ago. And, it’s been on the to-do list for 3 years. In preparation for our recent vacation when we had 100 things on my to-do list, I asked Daniel, “What am I forgetting?” He said, “To finish the headboard.” I thought, well that’s the last thing we have to do to get ready!
Point is, some things always seem to be on the to-do list but never get done. Are these things really important? Sometimes yes, very important. Most people have to “lose 10 pounds” or “go see Dr. Kuty” or “begin stretching everyday” and other similiar health goals on the to-do list. They’re on the list because you know you eventually want to do them, but they aren’t on your action plan list to get them done now!
Don’t put your health on a far off to-do list! You can’t go get that time back! Your body is working for you everyday with or without your health attentiveness. My lack of headboard won’t be the difference between life and death, ease and disease, function and lack of function. Getting your health to-dos done will!
