Feel like there’s never enough time? A lot of people feel like there’s not enough time… Not enough time with family, or to cook, or to stretch and exercise. There are 168 hours in the week (24 hours, 7 days)! What do you do with your time?
Many people have work or school 20, 40, or 60 hours a week.
A healthy night sleep may use up 8 hours. If you slept a healthy 8 hours a night, 7 days a week that’s 56 hours.
Everyone has to get ready in the morning and prepare for bed. Maybe youcommute to and from work or school. And, hopefully you still have time toeat throughout the day. Combined these activities probably take 2-3.5 hours/day or about 14-24.5 hours a week.
So, where does the time go? Even if you worked 60 hours a week, slept 8 hours a night, and spent 3.5 hours a day getting ready, commuting, and eating… you’d STILL have 27.5 hours left… that’s almost 4 hours a day!
Sometimes patients say “Dr. Kuty, I’m so busy… I don’t have time to do my exercises!” Or, “I don’t have time to make breakfast.” Or, “I don’t have time for an appointment.”
Just remember, you decide where your time goes. There’s almost always time for a brisk walk, 10 minutes of targeted exercises, or another kiss to your spouse before work. Involve your family and together do some stretching, play tag in the yard, come in for a chiropractic check up, and prepare a healthy meal.
In today’s world everyone feels rushed.
Make time for what’s important-
your family and your health!
They’re the two things you can never say
you spent too much time on!
Always feel free to ask Dr. Kuty any of your health questions.
