True Cause of Dis-ease
The latest research reveals stress factors outweigh germs as the cause of disease.”Reading Barwell’s analysis struck me. Why do we spend billions of dollars researching bacteria and viruses, drugs, exercise pills, and too many diseases to list? The true cause of ill health is the dis-ease of the body. We’re overcome with mental stress from running 24-7, trying to afford a bigger house, not lose our jobs, still buy more, and get fast-food so we can find time to eat. Our bodies suffer dis-ease from eating fatty, salty, processed foods and drinking coffee and soda. Our nerves, bones, and muscles have this schlop for fuel instead of flowing water, nutrient dense, natural, grown foods. How can we expect to feel great?I sometimes say to patients, “I am not a magician. I don’t have drugs or surgery or magic potions. These are my tools: movement, hydration, nutrition, and emotional health.” These are the cures for the body, these reduce stress and cause ease and relieve dis-ease. We need chiropractic adjustments, exercise, good posture, nutritious food, less pollution, more water, and peace of mind and ease of living. When we accept that and act accordingly, we experience health.
Stress is a response to demand. If we constantly take and take from our bodies without giving, we can not feel or look or move well. Stress is a biochemical, mental, and physical response. What we see in the mirror is a direct view of what is inside. Imagine we saw a thermometer of energy or a 1-10 pain scale when we looked in the mirror! What if our blood flowed like a glass elevator casing and you could see the cheeseburger chunks on your face or yesterday’s clogged cheesecake on your arm.
