Being healthy is a lifestyle. It affects everything you do.
Recognize the importance of balanced health. Schedule an individual or family chiropractic appointment.
Drive with your head against the headrest, this can protect you from more serious whiplash in the event of a car accident. It can also decrease your neck tension.
Don’t talk on your cell phone while driving, or use a headset. Don’t search through your contacts or text while on the road.
Floss your teeth. My grandma used to say, “Only floss the ones you want to keep.”
Exercise. Exercise is great for energy, weight control, self image, socializing, fitness, and so much more. Go out and take a walk, do your gym ball exercises, dance in your living room to your favorite music… just get moving!
Eat some fruits and vegetables. To be your healthiest you need 9 fruits and vegetable servings each day! Eating healthy gives your body the tools it needs to function. Remember: JUNK IN, JUNK OUT!
Hydrate. Did you know that you need half your body weight in ounces of water each day just to keep your organs functioning normally! So if you weigh 150 lbs, you need to drink 75 ounces of water a day. Would you drive your car with no oil in it?
Laugh, it’s good for the heart and soul. Smile at a stranger. Give someone you love a 30 second hug. You’ll feel great!
Be happy. Be healthy.
